2 minute noodles
« on: November 19, 2011, 05:32:55 am »
My school age children love ( I hate) 2 minute noodles when they get home before they go off to sport - is there a recipe anywhere for something compareable????

For the short time I've had Thermie kids very impressed with what I can make so this is my next challenge.

Shannon, how does this fit the bill.

If they like the creamy pasta which you buy in packets, this recipe is great

That first one is a ripper JD!

I normally do homemade chicken stock, add a packet of changs noodles (no artificial anything! 4 pack, yellow), and boil up with some frozen veg, but I'll give JD's suggestion a try :)

My DS13 loves the Easy Carbonara before he goes swimming. It's delicious and he can make it himself  ;)

Leej I do the same. I just can't stand to give my kids that rubbish in a sachet. I substituted it for the chicken stock concentrate without telling the kids and they couldn't tell the difference! My job is done  ;D
