MMM. I can see I may have to make my mobile die early and get an iphone. Maybe DD would like to give me hers? ;)

I see that the app is now available for iPad.  The app says it has 25 recipes.  Is that the number of recipes that are in the book?

Not available for ipad separately yet; just the same app, but bigger…the ipad version will be released next year based on interest! hahaha (I think we have the interest part sorted, its the development part we need to get on with!)

Hally, sorry about the heat in everything, I have grown up kids with grown up palates now (after living with me all these years!) and so I guess I can be a little heavy handed, but just cut, reduce, change as you see fit!
Hope everyone has recovered from chillies and pepper at your house! :D

Hally,

I haven't made anything from the book, I need to go shopping (about 60kms away) as the local little store doesn't have the ingredients I need. I have flipped through the book and thought "DS7 wont eat most of this" so I will prepare some meals for him I can freeze and then cook the Dinner Spinner meals for DH and I.

Yum, yum, yum.  Working my way through Dinner Spinners - have to start with those that don't need Umami Paste as I have no dulse atm.  Last night we had Chick Pea and Cashew Curry - beautiful, except with four adults eating, it didn't go very far.  Note for future - Side dishes important for that one.  Feta Tart we have made twice and there again it disappeared so quickly I barely got to try it.  SS Meatballs were fantastic and will definitely be made regularly at our place.  No problem with portion size with that one - plenty!  Only stress so far for us has been the loss of one of the pages - couldn't adjust to the spinner being so darn tight and tore it out in my excitement!  I am not admitting, Tenina, but it *may* have been your special vodka-fueled Feta Tart that I was over-enthusiastic about.

Tenina, the flavours are fantastic, just too hot for ds, dh loved the tuscan beef, so next batch will make milder, split in half then add more pepper and chilli to his half, so hopefully we will all be happy. Just have to learn to adjust the heat for us all.

Dizzygirl, gosh you are far away from the shops. I think you could adjust some recipes, the tuscan beef the flavour is great, dont add the pepper, remove a portion for ds then add the pepper to the rest. My ds liked the flavour but niot the pepper, just about playing around with it. We got 5 serves from this.

Oh I have to get this. My kids love the microwave Mac and cheese but I have banned it because I cant stand the smell. Goes through the whole house and smells like something has thrown up everywhere.

Counted 23 in my book Elsie.

Strictly speaking the app has 27 if you include umami and the cheesey scones, but actually 25 meals and 21 in the book.
:D

Love the app Tenina, its great for  those days when I forgot the dinner spinner book when I go shopping, always have my phone. Made the Vietnamese chicken salad, changed the dressing a bit, added coriander and sweet chilli sauce, no chilli, and wanted to use up the coriander, didnt add the sugar, less lemon juice and it was yummy. Trying to use up food before we go away tomorrow.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Had the Tandoori Chicken today, nothing wrong with the recipe but tandoori is not my favourite marinade.

It looks fantastic Judy…Hungry for it now I saw your pic…but a few other things on my menu! Merry Christmas…xxx
