Just off the top of my head until I have time to think about it - chicken hors-d'ouevres from the EDC are nice either hot or cold but I use fresh herbs not dried for a much better taste.

I couldn't go past things like smoked salmon dip and crackers from the forum. Also Tomato, capsicum and cashew dip. Beetroot and cashew dip.
Parmesan Grissini made into little pretzels sprinkled with salt, to eat alone or with dip.
Helene's ricotta with vegie sticks to dip in it. Perhaps some herbs in the ricotta.

Shhhh....don't tell Judy I was here
I made
spicy pumpkin dip
(was yummy) and placed crudites and crackers in pretty dishes, on the one tray, and also
smokey capsicum & spinach frittata
, cut into small squares and served cold, and added a dish of relish on the side.
Was well received.
Even make quiche and cut into smaller portions.

It's hard to stay off maddy, I'm supposed to be having a break but I got the wi-fi sorted out by the motel management and here I am - not for long though, having an early after all the walking I did today.
