Mum of eight awaiting new arrival....
« on: November 28, 2011, 04:54:09 am »
Well finally after a year of checking TMX out I have finally got one of the way, I now have the agonizing wait for it to arrive.  Looking forward to using it with my large brood of kids and expand our vegetarian diet.  can't wait to get lots of new ideas through this forum and picking all of your brains.

See you on the boards.

Hi breezy, welcome to the forum.  Will follow your adventure with interest.  Anyone with 8 kids has to be organised but how do you find enough hours in the day to do everything ???

Yup LeeJ same Breezy!!  Thanks for your welcome.  I didn't think about getting two bowls, might check it out after I have used it for a bit and see if I need it.  The main thing that was the selling point was the ease in making my bread with out a bread maker, they are never big enough for my brood and the rice milk.  I worked it out that if I only do the bread and milk I will get my money's worth in a year, anything I else I do is a bonus.

Most people start out waiting to see if they need the second bowl Breezy and we all come to the same conclusion - I need one. Good luck with the cooking and I'm sure you'll make your money back in less than a year. I think mine was about 4 months.

Welcome Breezy. With 8 kids you really need the time saving benefit of the TMX. Happy cooking

I just got a second bowl in the special promo deal and the whole set, including blades, basket, butterfly etc was only $150.  I had a sale at my varoma demo so I got an extra $50 (so would have been $200).

The only interesting thing is that when it arrived the lid was broken so my consultant ordered another one, which I received just a bowl , base, seal and lid, but there wasn't a return package or address or even an invoice or letter for the broken lid and spare bowl.  And then a couple of days ago I got a package and it had just another bowl only , but no lid. So I have a cupboard full of spare tmx parts!
(and yes i have let head office know, I just couldn't keep them I'm not that type of person).

Somehow I don't think that they are giving me 2 free bowls, a broken lid and a seal as a 'sorry for your inconvenience gift'!

Sorry went off subject there.  BTW I love having the second bowl set and I'm only a family of 5.

Welcome. What age are your children? Will they be able to help cook with the TMX?
