I've spent the last 20 mins trying to open a new topic! Is there a step by step guide on how to do this? I got as far as opening a new poll, then I filled in what I thought was needed and kept getting error messages! 1) the message body was empty 2) you need to have at lest 2 choices!

I worked out I placed my question next to the question tab instead of in the message body but for the life of me I can't work out what to do in the whole question section..

What do I put into the feild box or writing box next to the question & what is the choices it's wanting me to supply in that same section!

Thanks

Hi gndfood, welcome to the forum.

Perhaps you're wanting to post a message in Introduce Yourself or if you want to ask a question scroll down to Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide.  Follow the following steps.

Go to the Home Page, find the section in which you want to post.  Click on that heading, click on New Topic which is in the box on the right hand side and from there it should be easy to follow.  The poll section has nothing to do with posting your message.

I hope this helps.

I don't know if this is a suggestion or complaint, but I don't understand why the local time on this forum is so far out for me. It's about 9-10 minutes different from my local time. Where does it get the information from? It's really confusing to me, it says my local time is in the future, but by such a strange amount that it can't be related to a time zone mistake.
