St Kilda were far too good for us tonight.  Can't wait to see them and Geelong play, should be a cracker of a game. The rain held off thankfully and I just sat back and marvelled at how good the opposition were!  Also thought of what I am going to cook in my TMX tomorrow and wished I was home in bed by 1/2 time.

I know that feeling Judy. In the last 12 months I've thought that many times. :'( :'( :'(

Being a Geelong supporter, it is hard to get enthusiastic - there is one big day in Spetmeber that they have won once and lost about 7 times since 1963 !  They let West Coast get their first premiership !!!

He looks a clean cut guy, so I am sure he won't fall into the same mistakes his Dad did.; he was still a good footballer.

Hi Cookie1, yes it was a great match to watch.  Been a long time since I have been in a crowd of over 40,000 at AAMI Stadium, the atmosphere was great and it was a perfect night for footy. Thought your team would have beaten Freo - did you go? Football is a funny game, up one week and down the next!

Well done indeed ILB. My team are not doing at all well. Port aren't too bad Judy.
What did you think of Ben Cousins and his salute to the camera?  I was disgusted. Very poor sportsmanship. I had occasionally felt sorry for him, but that was the last straw. :(

Yes I agree, makes you wonder what was going on in that head of his at the time. It won't win him any fans.  Another bad loss for Ports, can't work them out this year at all.  Crows match was a beauty though, those young lads played really well and it is them who will take the Crows forward, not the older players. Big crowd at the match, even their numbers have dropped a lot lately so it was nice to see the stadium full.

Well, you have to be happy with that snatched win Thermomixer.  Any win is a good win I say and I was barracking for Geelong because my dear old Mum picked them.

I was happy when they won their first flag since 1963 - they are still a mystery though - how could they have lost last year??

Relief that they won more than happy - the last Saturday in September is THE match - the rest is stressful
