Hi....
« on: December 17, 2011, 02:06:22 am »
Hi.. I'm Edwina, but only my mother calls me that when I'm in trouble... The rest of the civilised world knows me as Eddie.. I'm mum to 4 ... Work full time as a nurse here in WA and have just signed up as a consultant.... Hoping my thermomix will arrive in time to help take the pressure off me at christmas, but expecting it to be here by the New Year...

Having seen one in action at a friends house, known about them for years in the uk and spent the last two weeks on youtube watching it I'm SO pleased to be owning my own Bimby... And spreading the message about fast healthy eating here in Australia....

Who knows, I may even go back to baking bread every day like I did for the first 15 years of my marriage lol...

Am SO excited... And Not just about christmas.....

Dear Eddie,  Great post!  Every Thermomix owner has a story.  Many have made great sacrifices and placed a lot of trust in the machine.  Don't worry - it will deliver!  I do hope your consultant is able to get you your own Thermomix this week.  If not, it will a fun new year as your family bathes you in compliments.  Happy Holidays and welcome to the forum.

Hi Eddie, welcome to the forum.  I have a Mother like yours, she is the only one to call me Judith but I am not usually in trouble with her these days thank goodness. You work full time, have 4 kids and you are going to be a consultant - boy you must be a super Mum :o  I'm glad you are so excited - there would be something wrong if you weren't. Fingers crossed you will receive your thermie before Christmas but don't be too disappointed if you don't - it is a very busy time for everyone at the moment.

I'm REALLY excited, because I met the thermomix in professional kitchens at home in the UK  but never dreamed I would have one myself...
Lol about working full time etc... Most of my life I've worked two jobs ...or a lot of overtime... Its going to be great to do something non-nursing for a change and something I'm passionate about too!

Welcome Eddie, I don't know how you do. I run a business and work part time elsewhere as well as being a mum to DS7 who has ADHD. I found the Thermie has made life alot easier and I wish you all the luck in your new adventure. With your passion for the thermie you will do extremely well.

Welcome Eddie, I'm sure you'll be back baking your own bread in no time at all.
