Organising recipes

Hello fellow thermies,
I was just wondering how everyone organises their recipes from this forum and other internet sites? Do you print out and keep in a folder or organise on your computer? Would love to know how everyone does this. Thanks! ;)

I print the recipes I want and put them in a display folder in plastic pockets.
I can add notes and tweaks easily and the recipes are protected in the plastic sleeves.
This works well for me.

I cut and paste into Word then print them out and keep them in a folder, however at lot of our members use various electronic recipe programs and there has been some discussion on this topic in the past so I am sure you will get a few responses and links from them.

I bought a tablet which sits on my kitchen bench.  Recipes saved to favourites or I just google them.   Bring up the recipe on my tablet.  No having to dig out and organise paperwork. Easy peasy

In the beginning when i got my TM i was emailing them to myself , no need to say how many  :-)).
I have stopped that now . what i do now is , if i like a recipe i will do it on the spot if possible then i will take a photo ,write all of  the information, who, when, how, and why lol then print and save a copy on a USB
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

I print out heaps 'to try'. Then as I try them, if we like them I put them into a display folder file  with comments etc. When I have 100 (which is what my folder holds) I do an index for it and then start another file. It's a bit cumbersome but suits me.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Atm I copy and paste into Word, then take the laptop into the kitchen. I have 2 folders under documents. One I have tried and will definately make again and one to be tried.

As I have a very small kitchen, this is becoming a pain and I am afraid I will wreck my laptop and then won't be able to get on here  :P

After seeing JDs box, I am going to endeavour to do this too. Now on the hunt for a nice box with Roosters or Chickens on it to match my kitchen.  I thought I would also colour code my recipes or perhaps if I can find the paper, using paper with a little pic on it (say bread or cakes etc). I could then cut the picture out of one and use that as the tab. I hope this makes sense.

Wow Judy! I love your organisation. This is what i will aspire too. I am a primary teacher so am very organised but usually I laminate things for my class. I think I'll go with this system as I like the fact that you can wipe clean the recipe. Where did you get your box from? Thanks everyone for all the other ideas too. :)

Just from one of those cheap jack stores Montoya - I couldn't believe my luck to get something the exact size I needed, depth was important too.  Just thought of the name of the shop - the Reject Shop.

I have an ipad and store them all on evernote. My internet is out and I coukdnt access them, but that was a me fault not a fault of the app

I copy mine to Word, save them in a special folder on my laptop. Then if I decide that I want to cook one of them, I print that one out. After the cooking, if I decide it's a 'make again', it goes into one of those A4 display books. Except I now need to add more plastic sleeves to it ... Have been thinking about buying a new display book, so that I can have one savoury, one sweet.
