they had a bowl promotion in october - $200 if you held a demo and $150 if someone bought, and there wasn't any freight involved. i'd wait for the next bowl promotion, then you really know what you're getting. i bought one bowl in april when they had a promotion then, and got it for $200; the offer in april wasn't as good - $100 off if you held a demo and $200 if someone bought, but it was still fine...and yes, i went for the october bowl, too - too good to pass up.

How do you find out about these promotions?

I am very unhappy with the after sales service as my consultant has decided to stop consulting. Even before she stopped, she never kept in touch. It was like..... "Heres your machin, you for it". I finally got in touch with a new consultant once but she has never keep me informed with whats on offer. I don't even have her number  >:(

I abolutely love my thermie and just wish there was someone around my area who could inspire and help me. This forum has done what I believe consultants should do and I thank you all xxxxx

Sorry for the whinge, but I had to get that off my chest

Dear DizzyGirl,  I'd go straight to http://www.thermomix.com.au and click into the link for Book a Demo then copy there what you've written to us.  Say where you live and someone will contact you soon.  Do it now, before 23 Dec though, as the head office is closing for a couple of weeks for Christmas.  As a consultant, I send out notices to all those who ticked the "updates" list on the feedback sheet and tell them every month what the specials and local events are.  Thermomix also contacts people, but it takes a while to get onto their database.  Good luck.  You're not whinging - you're just stating a need and then we can help you to act to improve the situation.  Happy Christmas! cecilia

Auds, the special price for second bowl and blade set was a promotion back in October and there had previously been one in April, so even if you book at demo at the moment, you would have to pay full price to buy a second bowl and blade set, which is $395.  So can you hang on for a few months?  Keep an eye on the forum here and you will probably see what is the current special deal from Thermomix Australia.
