Hi Guys
« on: December 21, 2011, 12:09:57 am »
Hi to everyone - I am new to the Thermomix world...I have just received mine even though I have done alot of research and reading over the last 12 months.... I was diagnosed just over a year ago with Leukemia and that changed my lifestyle quite dramatically... I welcome any recipe ideas or hints you guys have as I eat alot of raw foods, salads etc....  Basically just wanted to say hi and hopefully I will have something of substance to contribute in the coming months....
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year !
Shaz :D

HiYa Shaz,

I'm a newbie too, congrats on your purchase, its the best machine for your kitchen, I Love It.

What have you made so far?

Ive had mine almost 2 weeks and made Risottos, Soups, Peanut Butter, The Vegie Stock Concentrate, juices, smoothies, Carbonara,  I think I'm going to do a Curry tonight, it just makes my life so much simpler.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with as we are eating to try and feel better in our everyday lives.

Im sorry to read about your Leukemia, I really hope this machine makes life feel better and you produce some fantastic meals from it to help you.

Regards Leisa

Welcome Shazza. Glad you are feeling well enough to use your Thermomix. We have a raw food section on the forum too, though I'm sure you have already found that.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi Shaz
Welcome!   :)
Congratulations on getting your Thermomix, I'm sure it will help you nourish your body with loads of healthy food.
I don't know if you have found this already, but check out Aileens 'Rainbow Recipes', it is loaded with awesome ways to use fruits and vegetables and although they aren't all raw I'm sure you will find plenty in there.  She is a TM consultant and has included both Thermomix and conventional methods.
You can email her to buy it direct at aileen4health@bigpond.com
There is a raw booklet from head office and it isn't huge but has some nice ideas.
And hopefully you can find lots of ideas on here too!
