Yes i have frozzie ;D, but no more than usual

JD no you haven’t missed anything it just me been a sook i had a bad cooking day yesterday
I made the quince paste biscuits which i think was given the wrong amounts in the recipe for the  flour , and the iced puff pastry that didn’t puff
Then i tried to make a bianco e nero  ( white and black ) which i have made many time before and that was a complete disaster.
i need to make the bianco e nero  again today but i think i better buy the profiteroles

bianco e nero  is one of my favorite desserts  ;D

the picture of the bianco e nero  is an old one
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

Sorry you had a pig of a day yesterday, Fundj, but, as they say, today is a new day and all will be well.  I once read a saying (in my dim and distant past) - What's done is done, the next will be a better one.

Go for the "better one" and have a great day today.

Dear Uni, you work too hard and that's when things start to go wrong.  After a good night's sleep, today will be a better day.  Hopefully over the Christmas break you will get some time to relax and unwind from a busy year.   :-* :-*

I had one of those days yesterday too. Phone didn't stop ringing and I was trying to keep an eye on my bread. So I left out a few steps by accident. They were still nice but not up to their usual standard.
I made the Rocky Road and the choc melts just wouldn't melt and then half the choc solified on the bottom of the jug  :o

So after these 2 disasters I decided to give making the Ice Cream Cheese Cake a miss.

I really love to cook in peace and quiet which is impossible in school holidays. As they say, tomorrow is another day.

Good luck fundj. Your food always looks so good. I wish I was as talented as you.

Keep smiling  ;D
