Have to leave Thermie...
« on: December 22, 2011, 10:13:38 am »
... how will I cope? Driving to Adelaide tomorrow to spend Xmas with family which means leaving TMX behind for a week, and just when we were getting to know each other! At least Thermie will be with us in spirit on the road in the form of ham & cheese scrolls and Xmas cookies - thank you, Thermie! Very happy with the ham & cheese scrolls, had to whip up a 2nd batch today (while working from home... shhhh) because the first one went so quickly - result!
The Indian cookbook will be my present from Santa so at least I can plan some meals while I'm away.
Merry Xmas to all - look forward to reading about your festive cooking successes when I return.

I second that! Take Thermie with you!!! :)

Sounds like you've got great use out of Thermie before you leave anyway.

Have a great time in Adelaide,

Drive safely and watch out for the silly drivers on the road. Do hope Thermie was able to fit somewhere.

I agree - take Thermie with you.  ( I am off to Wee Waa for New Year and my Thermie is coming with me) although he does deserve  a rest though after working so hard these last few days.   :D

Have a safe trip and a very Merry Christmas.

Well I'm back and Thermie is currently cooking our dinner - good to be back! There was no point taking it with me because we were staying in different places with friends & family and no chance to cook anyway (no complaints here). Now I have a week's worth of posts to catch up on!
