I just received a 'catch-up' email from my consultant and she recommends this book for those 'challenged to find different meals' outside the EDC. She's even included a link to the website - does this mean Alyces' book has been endorsed by Thermomix Australia? Seeing my consultant tonight at a demo, hopefully she'll bring a copy so I can take a look.

Hi deedub,

Fantastic to see your consultant recommends Quick Fix in the Thermomix! At this stage head office are not promoting the book, I am selling it through my own website :)

Any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

All the best,
Alyce

I really like this book.  Have already posted a couple of dishes I made for dinner last night which were a success.  Will be trying quite a few recipes and also like the health aspects highlighted.

My consultant didn't have a copy to show me but she has seen it and has ordered one for herself - I think that's a pretty good recommendation!

Great to see people making their own successes in life while using Thermomix. This is only going to grow as a trend. PLUS of course it helps to sell more Thermomix machines everywhere.

The internet changes everything and companies who once micro-managed the activities of their sales people will have a harder time of it as common sense will (I hope) prevail. The Thermomix is a high quality tool that is growing in popularity --  like a good car, good computer tablet, or a good camera. When sales agents are restricted from suggesting certain cookbooks to their customers, it's like telling a Mercedes salesperson not to recommend a great road-trip travel guide. Or -- imagine if you just bought your first DSLR camera and the store were not allowed to recommend certain photography books.  ???

It's heartening to see progressive demonstrators who recognize, appreciate, and endorse great products such as this book and Tenina's. Such books will help all customers have more fun with their Thermomix "investment". Great job!

Has anyone tried the granola from this book? I want to give it a go but it looks a bit on the sweet side to me, thinking the cinnamon might be a bit overpowering?

I've tried it deedub. My kids like it, but my preference is Tenina's granuesli actually.

I bought Alyce's book from Tenina at the cooking class I went to in Albany.

I haven't made anything from it yet, but it does look lovely. I hadn't made any of the recipes from Tenina's book, either, until I went to her class. I really have to watch, taste and see before I'll try something new.

I'm like that too MJ, I'm not very adventurous with different foods. Where as DH would try and eat almost anything. :)

I did make the Hollandaise recently, but that's it! I looked again today, but nothing makes me go, "Ooh, I want to make that".
Hopefully Alyce will come to WA and do some classes.
