A new phone is a pretty good option though!

We've had screens replace on Nokia phones at those little kiosks in shopping centres - Carousel etc. The Nokia screen only cost $20. Not sure if they do iPhones though.

Can't wait to get my iPad so I can download all those wonderful apps that everyone's talking about!

It was the sme type as he had an iphone4 not an upgrade! Just an expense we could do without really!

When we upgraded our Iphone recently I paid an extra $99 for extended apple warranty. This extended the warranty to the end of the Telstra contract and includes one free screen replacement. I figured it was worth it since a new screen is at least $150 in Perth.

We have never broken a screen yet but DD the younger has twice.

Dede I like the woolworths app too.  It is really well thought out and has the potential to make shopping easy.

Yep they do and the one at Rockingham Shopping Centre was one of the cheaper ones ... at least I guess I didn't have to travel  ;)

Don't buy scrabble! The computer opponent always comes up with nonexistent words and won't accept a lot of my words, which are actually WORDS!!! Definite waste of money in my books!

I do use it but  my favourite app at the moment is 7 words, a very addictive little game where you get clues and you have to find the answers amongst the given letters. I find it very hard to stop playing it at times!

DD uses words with friends and she plays with people all over the world. 7 words sounds like fun. I love sudoku and even monopoly. I made my first item from the ipad today. They look good and will post the recipe if they taste as good. I had to make some marzipan and apricot jam to go with them. ;)

I've just downloaded my February edition of BBC Good Food too. I do love the way it is presented.

I've actually bought the full version of Words with Friends as I play it a lot and got really sick of all the adds. I've been playing it for months now with a couple of friends. I find it really addictive. I've always got a couple of games on the go.
I tried hanging with friends too, but I much prefer Words with Friends.
I also like Word Warp and Boggle.
Mind you, since I joined the forum I've spent all my free time reading the posts here instead of playing word games. However, I've still managed to keep playing Words with Friends,

Ii used to play words with friends but I just got to busy with everything and just never seemed to have the time. It is an addictive game though.
