Thanks to you lovely ladies, I downloaded 7 words yesterday and can see it's going to be difficult to stop playing it...   At least it's more challenging to the brain than Ant Smasher  ;D ;D

Have as much fun with it as I do! Don't say you weren't warned though, although as Hercule Poirot always said, it does stimulate the grey cells!!

I thought 7 words sounded harmless, boy was I mistaken. DD and I sat there doing them and kept saying 'oh let's do another one.' Tomorrow is supposed to be housework day. I might suggest she takes the ipad to work with her. ;)

I have downloaded heaps of different apps, all the ones recommended here and a few more besides!

I love tapatalk for this forum and Kindle. I love word games so will download 7 little words. I like Elders Weather App too - very important for us farmers!

Really enjoying my iPad. I must create folders and organise my apps.

I downloaded kindle for my iPad and a few free books. I have already read a 366 page book and half way through another one all in less than a week. And I don't usually read books, but I'm really enjoying it.

I find it easier to pick up my iPad and read a few pages of a book than a real book. My iPad sits on my kitchen bench and I open it up to read while I'm waiting for something to come to boil, or while having a cuppa.

I downloaded Paprika today and that's an excellent app. I guess the only thing I do dislike is having to use Safari. It's slow and clunky compared to Mozilla Firefox.

Download Atomic Web and see if it is any faster if not you can delete. There are probably other browsers you can download as well. My Safari is really fast so I haven't had to do any research on it.

I've just downloaded the taste.com app. I should really be doing the ironing.

I agree Hally. I had just turned the iron on and started when the power went off. After much checking I discovered that it was the iron throwing the switch so it went in the bin. I now have a new one with all sorts of lights and things and I hate it.
Dh said there are cheaper ways to get out of doing the ironing. 8)
