Seems like we really like Indian food on this forum. Lots of reviews posted and I will be adding to them soon.

Thanks girls, for those who don't have a lot of time to spend on here searching for reviews, these lists have to be a great help so I will press on and do another book as soon as I can. I would not do any recipe from a book without first referring to the forum to see firstly, if anyone else has made it and secondly, what tweaks (if any) they have suggested.

Yes have learnt to do that myself JD after a few disastrous attempts at recipes and then reading that someone had already commented on that very thing. I used to just jump in feet first but now tell myself "check the forum first". Even the kids say "can't you cook anything without checking on the forum".   ;D

Hi all.  These lists are great for alerting us to windows of opportunity for fresh reviews, too, so will stimulate further sharing.  THANK YOU for the inspiration and stirring into action, JD.  I take it from now on we should add the link to the news reviews here ourselves until you get a chance to edit extras into the main list??  Homework for the new year for us both.  :)

Cecilia, if members continue to review recipes as per usual, checking first to see if a thread has already been started, I will try and be vigilant and add any new recipe review to the lists.  There will be no need to if existing links are used IYKWIM.

Just a couple of general thoughts about the instructions in this book... I noticed the difference between our Australian instructions and the English ones.

When sauteing onions/garlic in FEIC several times we are instructed to use Varoma temperature for *10 minutes* on Speed 1.  I did as  was told but several times I had a burnt bowl base to contend with.  I think there is good reason why the Australian instructions are different.

Also I was aware that the measure "Tablespoon" is smaller in Britain than ours in Australia.
