Squeaking noise on speed 1-2
« on: December 31, 2011, 01:58:02 am »
Does anyone else notice a squeaking noise when the blades are turning speed 1-2? It never happens on higher speeds or  ^^. I have to say it doesn't really bother me much as I have become used to all of the other noises the TM makes and this particular noise isn't very loud anyway. Just thought I'd ask!

Merlin, from time to time my machine makes squeaky noises on different speeds but it seems to disappear after a while - just the gremlins in there I think ;)

Mine used to make a noise at speed 4 and lately I have noticed a slight squeak around 2. As Judy says just gremlins.

I have been told that a drop of sewingmachine oil on thesilver-coloured circle of the central moving part under the Thermomix is the way to go for those high-pitched whines.

My Thermie squeals on speed 4., but I haven't particularly noticed any sounds on other speeds.

Quite a few do a bit of a squeal on 4. Mine did for ages but then stopped.

Not for the squeak on speed 4, but I am seriously thinking of putting a drop on for the squeak at speed 2.

Are you referring to the blade, or base?  Off to search for this silver circle

Yes sometimes this happens, just either slow down or speed up and it will go!

Ok thanks.

I'm a little nervous because my warranty runs out this month and with my luck it would break down a week later.🙀

As I say this happened to me and the blade unit was replaced by TM.
