Isn't it the same recipe as the Indian cookbook?
It looks as though it is the same but in the Indian Cookbook there is an option to add 10g of coriander chilli paste in the final blending.

This reminds me of 10 yrs ago. I used to make green soup.
Eventually the kids said what's in it and I said veggies from garden that I've grown.
Eventually they went and looked in the garden and found the lettuces, then they stopped eating it LOL. I thought it was fine.

I love this soup!  I eat it hot in the middle of our WA summer, it's just so yum...... I love soup in general though.  Despite the butter & cream, it just feels healthy eating a green lettuce soup ;). It's definitely worth trying & doesn't cost much to make.  (I use a whole head of butter lettuce, not the 8 or so leaves the recipe suggests).
