Meganjane from Country WA
« on: April 07, 2009, 10:19:52 am »
Hi all,

I've just found this forum. Funnily enough, I was googling Thermomix because I was planning on selling mine having not used it for about three years.
After reading here, I got it out and started using it again. I made roasted pumpkin and zucchini soup, which ended up being too large a batch and I had to transfer it to a pot. Then I made the Milk Rolls from the recipe book. They were the most divine rolls I've ever made!!

So, to cut a long story short, my T'mix is back in my kitchen and I'm excited about using it again!

Glad I found this place.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Welcome.. That is probably the happiest story I have heard for a long time. Thermomix revival. 3 years is a long time to be stashed away. I am happy that this forum has revitalised a friendship again between you and Thermomix :-)

Have an ace time here, and happy cooking

MM

This has made me happy too - really think there must be more souls who have a dead machine accumulating dust.

Love to hear more about your trials and tribulations.

Hi and welcome! I love your story and am so glad you have dusted it off and had a revival.

I'm still waiting for mine... but it should be here soon!

May I ask from what part of our great state you are from Meganjane?
I can hardly imagine a thermomix not being used for 3 years. Gosh. Great to hear of the revival.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
