« on: January 04, 2012, 11:37:04 pm »
Hi, I was wondering if I will be able to make ice-cream that tastes like the old fashioned variety? Does anyone have a receipe for butterscotch ice-cream?
Thanks

Hokey Pokey Ice-cream Recipe - Taste.com.au
Hokey pokey ice-cream recipe - Place sugar, butter and cream in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, for 10 minutes or until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool completely.

Does this help, and make vanilla ice cream.

Make a butterescotch sauce and fold it through just before you put it in the freezer.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
