What was the first thing you ever made in the THX?

So I got my machine yesterday!! And it got me thinking, what was the first thing you made? Pressing the buttons at a demo doesn't count

Last night I made butter, this morning I will be making porridge. I'd love to hear what you all did. I hope it was memorable enough.

Mine would have been a custard I think. The first time I had to be so aware of time, speed and temperature. I thought I would never get the hang of it.

I think I am addicted This morning after the porridge I made hot cross buns. Then garam masala. Then hummus.

Last night I was still getting the hang of locking the lid on, but this morning seems to have gone better. I have had lots of cleaning to do

LOL (remembering) I was very excited - took it to my Mothers to cook the first meal and invited guests (strongly not recommended for the first meal!!).  i cooked John Dory Fillet out of the Seafood cookbook.  I had no idea about timing of everything (rice, fish and vegies). )

I made Gazpacho and garlic mayonnaise, and custard and rice pudding all that first evening! After the Ratatouille and steamed rice that my Demonstrator had made with me!

We had butter chicken last night. I would have happily fed it to guests although I didn't try cooking anything else with it like vegies. We aren't really dessert people here but that might have to change

I love seeing all your firsts. I was a little intimidated the first night so DH made dinner as usual while I made butter on the other side of the bench
