Melbourne newbie
« on: January 16, 2012, 04:02:35 am »
Hello. My name is Tess and I'm addicted to my Thermomix, even though I've had it just less than a month.

I've been lurking for a while and using the forums for advice converting my favourite recipes to TM-world, so thanks to everyone who has unknowingly helped me get started.

I've also made the lemon cleaning solution in the non-food recipes section and used it to get the oven sparkling like new again.  It will probably stay that way for a while, because it doesn't get anywhere near as much use these days (except for sterlising jam jars - oh the TM is a dream for making jam!)

Hi Tess, welcome to the forum.  It's nice when lurkers finally join us and add their thoughts and comments.  You must have a few converted recipes you are able to share with us by now so I look forward to those and hearing about your other successes.

Welcome, I too have made the Lemon Cleaning cream (twice double recipe) and have made the Laundry washing powder which I love. Just love my TMX and look forward to something different every day. Today it was a healthy smoothie, lemon, ginger, celery, silverbeet, beetroot and lettuce.  HUM  maybe not everyday.  supposed to be really good for you.  :o :-\

Welcome to the forum Tess, I'm glad you have decided to 'come on board.'
