Amy,  these are best eaten the day they are made.  However if made to eat tomorrow,  I don't glaze them.  The next day I spray with water and place in a hot oven for about 5 mins.  On the third day I toast them.  On the 4th. Day ,  bread and butter Pud.   Starting to sound like the 12 days of Xmas. LOL.

Oh thx chookie.. Wont glaze them all next time and bread and butter pud would be an excellent use for the uneaten ones.. My kids arent old enough to eat hourds of food yet :)

Great ideas, thanks Chookie :-* I think I tried making chocolate hot cross buns a couple of years ago and they didn't turn out very good, so I made my awesome slow-cooker bread pudding with them ;)

They are delicious toasted. I'm going to make baby ones this year, then we can have more than one.  ;) :)

Made these this weekend and enjoyed them warm from the oven and toasted the next day. Delicious and thank you chookie for another great recipe.

We are going to make about 7 doz. of these on the  28 th.   But I am going to try some Sour Dough ones before then.   Will keep you all posted.
