Hi from Beezneez in hot High Wycombe, WA
« on: January 27, 2012, 04:53:54 am »
Got my thermomix in November and I love it! My hubbie dubbed it the 'cement mixer' which wasn't very complimentary but he's slowly coming around, he's even changed the name to "Theo". Have been working my way through some recipes and especially love the fact that the kitchen doesn't heat up when cooking. Particularly useful in the heat Perth is experiencing at the moment. Love the recipe review and tweak part of this forum - I look it up before cooking a recipe to see how everyone else has fared! No failures yet - thanks heaps.

Hi beezneez, welcome to the forum.  DH isn't far wrong with the cement mixer, it does make enough noise at times to be likened to that. Glad to hear you are finding reviews/tweaks a help - that's the whole idea of them and it certainly pays to check out a recipe before making it. Have fun.

Hi beezneez. It is certainly hot at the moment isn't it. Last night was particularly unbearable. You would get some strong easterlies where you are.
Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you are enjoying your TMX.

Welcome to the forum beezneez. The place where you live leapt off the page this morning when I read it as it's also the name of a town very near me here in the UK.We certainly aren't having high temperature, frosty this morning :P

Hi Beezneez, I agree the TMX is great, it has been really hot over here in Victoria too, couldn't bear to put the oven on, if it can't be cooked in the TMX or the Micro it isn't being cooked.
