The Choc chip chickpea cookies are definitely worth making. My kids love them!

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. I'm going to have a go today at making the chocolate chip cookies with chick peas, I'll let you know how I get on and when I find red kidney beans I'm going to have a go at making the chocolate cake. I can't wait to feed them to my tribe and see what they think  ;)

I tried the choc chip cookies with chick peas, they went down a treat my 3 kids and all their friends. I'll definitely be making those again

Welcome Lindsay, interesting posts about the chick peas and red kidney beans, might have to give these a try too, I would love to see the Gk's faces after eating them when I tell them what was in the goodies. Best not I suppose ,they won't trust me when i make anything else. Enjoy.

I think I might have turned a corner with my extremely fussy son, nearly everything I've made in my TMX he has eaten and has asked for more! I made a chicken risotto tonight and he even ate that. I made bolognaise sauce for a pasta bake a few days ago, he initially turned his nose up but when he tried it he asked if he could take some to school the following day and he wasn't bothered it would be cold! Everyone is going to think I exaturate but I really don't care  ;D

That's great Lindsay!  How old is DS? - they do go through fussy stages and sometimes realise that the food they though they hated is in fact quite nice (long list of 'I didn't think I liked it but now I do' in my family!). Glad the Thermomix is making life easier!

He is 6. Moving to a 3rd world country did worry me which shouldn't have done, I'm just so glad I invested in my TMX, it has made life so much easier, the hard choice now is just trying to decide what to cook with the ingredients I can get hold of.

It took me a while to afjust with ingredients t firt snd finding out where to find ingredients and wht they are called... If you know any other expats pick their brains if yo havent already... Enjoy the experience...
