Hello Earthlings!
« on: February 05, 2012, 09:23:09 pm »
I have joined the cult of TMX. And I couldn't be happier. I have had my TMX for just under a week now. And I am in love. Cooking is a passion of mine and being able to cook more involved recipes with ease is a life savour! I probably use the TMX 2-3 times a day. Sometimes more. I've converted a few of my favourite recipes already with great success!

Look forward to sharing with you all!

Welcome Mrs Nesbit, great to see you have been converting recipes already. It took me some time before I was confident enough to try. Would be lovely to see some of your conversions.

Thanks guys! Mrs Nesbit is the name given to my TMX by hubby. I think it fits. It's a toy story reference for those that might not know. He says it goes to infinity ad beyond, is space age and is a great companion for tea parties ;). I got so excited I forgot to mention I'm a mother of two as well so they are loving the fruits of Mrs Besbit's labour too! I have my first batch of ricotta going now... And I'll be making pasta dough this afternoon. Had some leftover homemade passata in the fridge so thought spinach and ricotta cannelloni would be a great way of using it up. Making things from what I have is one of my favourite things to do and the TMX is making that web easier!

Hi mrs nesbit, welcome to the forum. My GS is into Toy Story but I've never heard him mention mrs nesbit - must ask him next time I see him.  It's great to be able to create a meal from leftover bits and pieces instead of letting them sit there and end up in the bin - looking forward to you sharing your recipes with us.

Hello Mrs Nesbit. Love the name your DH has given the thermomix. My DH loves V8 racing so I am glad I named mine thermie before he had a chance.  :D

Take care and Happy Cooking
