Court on, I'm also a 5 in 1 convert. To pressure cook you add all the ingredients, lock the lid in place and ensure the lever on the lid is set to airtight, pressure the pressure cook button, set the time in minutes and then press start and that's it. The cooker will automatically turn to pressure cook when it has come to pressure, once the time is completed it will change to the keep warm function. You can either release the pressure quickly by releasing the valve on the lid or just wait 10 mins for it to reduce automatically. Very easy.

I don't have one either cause I'm scared of them. I'm happy to use a drop saw but to scared to use a pressure cooker :D
Mind you the first time I used the drop saw I was shaking like mad, but now I'm right lol.

Halex I was like you, so scared. So I went into Robins Kitchens and the lovely sales assistant showed me how it works. She got the recipe book/manual out and went through it with me. That night I used it for the first time and was worried that my dinner wouldn't be cooked and would still be raw. It was just so easy to use. I got the Cuisinart 6lt one. It can brown and sauté as well as pressure cook. I still have my slow cooker for the times I am home all day.

It is available at vicotia's basement (but out of stock) and the home depot for $129. Have never heard of home depot online. Has anyone bought from them? Any good or bad experiences?

Michelle, I would be interested to hear how you did the pork belly. I made beef and Guinness pies last night and cooked the meat in the pc and it was great.

I have an oval slow cooker for legs of lamb etc but do use the 5 in 1 for casseroles or smaller amounts.
I don't have a browning function on the oval slow cooker.
