Welcome ultraviolet. Let us know how you go when you emerge from your kitchen!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Well, what a day I've had! My TMX arrived at 9:30... once we'd done the intro and made the custard it was 10:30...

... next stop was a kitchen warehouse store to purchase a silicone baking mat and spatula (after reading about the frustrations with the TMX spatula), followed by Coles to get a few basic provisions and then my fruit and veg store to get some fresh stuff.

Came home and made butter. WOW is all I'll say about that.

Then made bread. Used the EDC recipe, except omitted the whole wheat (couldn't find any) and made up the volume with bakers flour. Made 6 large rolls topped with sunflower seeds - all ready in time to have a late lunch :D

Then whipped up some curry paste to have with fish tonight and now am stewing some tomatoes for home made pasta sauce!

... and its just gone 6:30pm. Not bad really!

I think I am converted :)
