Im a Thermomixian to!
« on: February 10, 2012, 04:04:13 am »
Hi! my name is Angela (aka) Thermaddicted...and thus far I'm living up to my nickname. I have had my Thermomix for just over 6 months and have just started training to become a consultant, I run our family business and am a mother of 4 (aged  to 20) ... not thinking I had enough on my plate I have very recently set myself  and my trusty Thermomix (aka Therman) a personal challenge.
We have recently embarked upon a journey, which until I can come up with a better name, will be called "Therman makes 1000"
Its pretty self explanatory, my kitchen whizz and I are setting out to complete 1000 recipes in (hopefully) under one year, (main meals. sweets. drinks, condiments, sides, salads, playdough!! who knows whatever!!!! anything goes)
I will have been posting pictures on face book and I will update regularly with  more photos and success/failure stories, recipe links and credits to the inventors of all the fabulous creations I find... And of course the "official count"
If you are interested in my kitchen adventures you can find me http://www.facebook.com/pages/Thermaddicted/194702590628621   feel free to like or share my page :)
I'm confident that I will find loads of recipes on line and in my fabulous thermomix recipe books... but please, feel free to suggest any recipes that you think might be suitable :)
I have a sneaky suspicion that this forum is going to pop up A LOT in my credits.

Keep on mixing !
Ange.

Welcome to the forum Ange. Wow, 1000 recipes in a year - that's 2.7 recipes a day :o
You will have your work cut out for you with starting consultancy as well.
Look forward to viewing your recipes and all the very best with demonstrating.

Hi Angela, welcome to the forum. I must drink more if it means coming up with great brainwaves :D :D
One drink has the opposite effect on me, I don't want to do anything ;D
Good luck with what you have set yourself, will check out your blog and see what you have been up to so far.

Welcome to the forum Angela, wow you will be busy. I would say that most of us would make 1000 recipes a year but to make 1000 different recipes would be a real challenge. I'm going to check out your Facebook page now   Good luck.

Ps. Might pay not to drink anymore for a year until you finish this challenge lol.

Welcome Ange. I love your challenge. I really don't think you will have that much trouble with your challenge. Are you planning on 1000 new recipes or just 1000 recipes in the TMX?

I am following your Facebook page with interest. I think it's a brilliant way to promote the TM and what it can do.
