I have just joined as a fairly new Thermomix user. I have recently retired and can now look forward to following a passion for cooking and learening new approaches. My main interest is in savoury dishes ... risottos, curries etc. I look forward to learning and sharing. Cheers & regards, David

Hi David, welcome to the forum. What a great time to get a TMX - in retirement you can cook away all day (as long as you have someone to help you eat everything
). Have a good browse of the forum and you will find plenty of savoury recipes along with some lovely bread recipes. In our Condiments & sauces section you will find recipes for sweet chilli sauce, worcestershire sauce etc. Don't even look at the cakes and desserts section - you might be tempted to try something from there too
Have fun.

Welcome David. You will now have lots of time to a) spend on the forum b) cook in your thermomix. I don't think I could have managed if I had been working when I bought my TMX. I would have wanted to stay home and use it.

Welcome David, retirement is great, I've never been so busy, how did I find time to go to work, maybe its just that as you get older you do things a lot slower.
I love my TMX certainly renewed my interest in cooking. just steamed a whole leatherjack in the varoma , so nice.

Welcome David to the forum. Have you always cooked? It is interesting how many men are enjoying the thermomix - I have listened in amazement as my husband and his mates discuus recipes and techniques - this from men who have cooked very little before.
