Attention Left-handers: TMX spatula

I know we all love the Thermomix, but today I'd just like to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful Thermomix spatula, a triumph of engineering.

Besides all the other features pointed out at demos, I would just like to point out that it iseems to be deliberately designed to be equally accessible and efficient for both right and left handers and you can't often say that.

I'm left handed and I don't like the TMX spatula find it very hard to use, I have a lot of trouble using it to scrap the bowl clean, I am on my second TMX spatula and its ready to be thrown out, I have only had my machine for just over 12 months, much prefer the new one that I bought and my trusty Tupperware spatula.

I'm left handed too and admit that I swap the spatula from hand to hand to scrape the bowl when I use it.

Cecilla are you talking  about the Super Spatula at superkitchenmachine.com ?   This spatula is perfectly designed to work easily with both hands .  The spatula  supplied with the Thermomix not so much.

Hi ladies and thanks for responding.  No, I was talking about the original.  I was delighted when a left-handed lady at a demo was thrilled when she came up to do the custard and told me when she used the spatula how comfortable it was for her.

I'm left handed as well and  rarely use the original spatula. I find iit too cumbersome and unergonomic.  Instead I always use one of my silicon spatulas for scraping the bowl etc. I'm very glad at least one  of us 'lefties' can se the spatula!

Im also left handed and have to say the originsl spatula is not so easy to use except of course for the basket and while the machine is in motion however for scraping down or things out not so much.. For that i use my tupperware spatulas and will eventually get the super spatula from helens site for which i have heard great reviews..

It is well designed and we couldn't live without it

And I have to say now that I am ambidextrous, but using left hand for all things related to cooking and eating. I have always found the TMX spatula to be equally good in both hands, though as Frozzie says, not the best for clearing the bowl etc. (I have infinite trust in Vorwerk, I don't think they could design something that didn't work both ways...) Jeninwa, I think the trouble you are experiencing is probably universal, not just cuz you're leftie ;-)  Never mind, we can be sure that they will alter the spatula in the next model.

I didn't want to broadcast this too loudly, as I don't want to sound too commercial and also, there won't be any more brushes for about 10 days. However, super spatulas are available now, plus I have just added a new kit together called "The BIG deal" for people who want to save and share "en masse".

Hopefully, once those brushes arrive, there will be no more stock problems, ever
