Rather than a large domed bowl, I made it in my rectangular fish poacher as that made it much easier to slice and serve. I never thought to make it in a smaller form because the way I learned was the massive construction. I'm going to try this for a potluck dish to take to my next book club meeting. (Will also make a back-up item in case it doesn't work out.)
This looks great - do you think the pasta is cooked first ? I can purchase 'fresh' pasta or make my own but wonder if it needs cooking before baking?
