Millet
« on: April 26, 2009, 07:21:44 pm »
Does anyone have any good recipes for millet?  I have a container of millet sitting around, which needs using up (also wild rice, but that's my next post  ;) )
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

I went to bed with some of my TMX recipe books last night - only managed to get through Cindi's book and the GF one before I was seeing double.  I did wonder where you buy millet from though - a health food store maybe?  Saw some lovely desserts in the GF book Karen and wondered if you have done any that are outstanding enough for a dinner party. Made a list of things that I will eventually try but may seek advice from the forum regarding their success before actually doing them.

i don't often cook desserts other than custard (and occasionally a pudding for dh & i, but the tmx is too loud to use when trying to get kids to sleep ;) lol)
