Finally registered!

Hi All,
I took the plunge and invested in a TM when I was home for Christmas last year. I've been lurking on the forum since then. I've finally done something about joining!
I am currently living and working in rural Thailand, so I can't always get the ingredients I want to try out all the great new recipes I have - but it hasn't stopped me yet *grin*
I'm really looking forward to sharing ideas with everyone.

Hi dragongirly and welcome to the forum. Why not pop over and
enter in the poll
so we can keep track of where our members are from. Don't think we have too many members living in Thailand?
We have lots of delicious recipes here that our members have kindly posted - and here is my current
list of favourites
- (which needs updating probably) we also look forward to hearing from you if you have any queries, comments or converted recipes of your own to offer.

Hi dragongirly - welcome to the forum. I would imagine that you can get interesting ingredients in Thailand that we never see in Australia, and the thermomix does lend itself to lots of different cooking styles - I'm sure you'll have heaps of fun!

Hi and welcome dragongirly to the forum, great that you can join us.
How long are you in Thailand for? What
Kind of things do you like making in your TM?

Hellow dragongirly, welcome to the forum. You must have some lovely Thai dishes you can share with us, Thai curries are my favourite curries over any other. What does an Aussie girl living in Thailand cook - a bit of both styles perhaps. Love to hear about your experiences living in rural Thailand, what you do for a living etc

Welcome Dragongirly, my Dil is from Thailand her home village is three hours drive from Nongkhai up the top , so Iam very lucky to have lots of Thai dishes cooked for me, although I would have loved to have had my TMX with me when I visited as a lot of their dishes are much to hot for me. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Thank you all for the lovely welcome.
I have to admit I haven't done a lot of Thai cooking since I got my TM. I have been enjoying the wonders of fresh bread (yes I can get bread here - but it's the mass produced stuff blech!), pastry and pasta.
I plan to put some of the Thai recipes I have to the test. I'll keep you updated on that front - could be interesting
Cheers
