Wholemeal Chips
« on: February 29, 2012, 12:18:41 am »

These are made from stale Wholemeal ,grain and seed rolls, and cut into thin slices. Sprayed with oil and baked in the oven until crisp. No waste and yummy. Served here with Farfallina's dip of ricotta, low fat Philly and spring onions.

Great idea cookie. I often dry out left over bread in the oven for breadcrumbs and often end up eating it with butter instead!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
