Thermies off to hospital!!!
« on: March 02, 2012, 10:40:54 am »
Texted my consultant this morning as  poor thermie has been coming up with errors 31 & 52!!! Just heard back saying that she has written a service report and to take it to Balcatta when I can! Luckily I have mums tmx cos I don't think I'd survive without my baby! Wish me luck. Hoping it's nothing serious.

You are lucky indeed hools, probably better it's yours and not Mum's  :(  Do you have to travel far to Balcatta and is it still under warranty?

Yes, Judy, I'd hate for anything to happen to mums! Yes it's still under warranty as we used our gold visa card to get an extra years warranty! Mind u I've still only had it 16 months so it would be under normal warranty. Balcatta is only about 10-15 mins down the road so all good. Mum and dad are away for another 2-3 weeks so as long as I have him back by then fit and well I'll be happy! :)

Gee that works out well Hools, at least you won't have to go back to traditional cooking. After 16 months you would nearly forget how to lol.
Hope it's fixed and back home in no time.

Hope your TMX is better soon.  Thank goodness you have your Mum's - it would be like losing your right hand otherwise. :-*
You haven't failed at anything until you stop trying.

Wishing your Thermie a speedy recovery. Lucky you to have
one to use while it's away.

I hear the Balcatta hospital is a great place for opoerations. May your TMX recover quickly, and have no scars.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I imagine not having the TM would be worse than me not having my dishwasher. I have got rid of quiet a few appliances since buying my TM and would find it really difficult with out it. At least with my Dishwasher broken down I still have the sink to wash up in.

I did have a call from insurance company yesterday to say they are sending me a cheque for the repair of my dishwasher. So shouldn't be much longer now. I will ring the repair man to give him the go ahead to fix it on Monday. So hopefully will be back with me by the end of the week.
