Hello from Ballarat Vic.

Hello Everyone, I've had my TM for about 2 months and I'm totally in love. How did I live without it! I've just finished consultant training (I needed a part time job) and I'm doing my first run through on a couple of friends today to see how it goes. First official party is on Friday eek.
I use my TM nearly 3 times a day and probably too much for sweet things as were just eating pancakes. I've made jam, raspberry coulis, cakes, slices, fruit smoothies every day for the kids, bread (I'm getting even fatter because its so delicious) bagels, butter and all the rest of the standards. We made banana ice cream last night and it was to die for. I don't use the varoma as much as I should but I make a lot of my own soups and steamed pears on the top and then made custard for desert. Too easy. I love taking the apricot risotto to friends because they just love it, kids too its a big winner. I also experiment with dips. I'm going to read the section on easy meals so I have can a few more up my sleeve for evening meals.
I'm also feeling like the mum of the century with all the health homemade food I'm giving my children without all the additives, except for all the sugar of course.
Well done Vorwerk I'm very very impressed.

Welcome,
You'll find lot of recipes and help on the forum
I use a lot of recipes from here and a few from the books.
I've had my TM since October last year and use it every day so much so that I've almost forgotten how to cook any other way. Good luck with the party

Hi Angefltz, I'm sure you will be a great demonstrator you are doing so well with your TMX, I've been to five demo's and they are always such fun. Even when there are mistakes made, which does happen with all the talking and discussions going on. Good Luck.

Hi Angefitz,
I have had my Thermie since just before Christmas and love it too.
I'm from Creswick, I havn't heard of to many other people from Ballarat having a Thermie yet, so good on you.
I purchased mine through my Aunt in W.A, so I dont have any connections in Ballarat, but if I hear of any interested people in the area who may want one, I will hop on here and let you know.
Keep up all of the fantastic cooking. I know I have made things in mine that I would not have considered before, I make sauces ( Hollandaise, easy peasy) an awesome Tikka Paste that I use for so many things, Ive cooked bread for the first time ever, both regualr and Gluten Free, dips, smoothies, risottos, the list goes on and on.
Regards. Leisaloo

Leisaloo, what do you use your tikka paste for apart from the Butter chicken in the Indian cookbook? I have 6 x 100g packets in the freezer that have been sitting there since I made is specifically for that recipe
I rarely revisit a recipe but I did think I could coat chicken fillets with it and steam it or even rub some into the skin and roast a whole chicken in the weber but just haven't got around to it. I've done the recipe for Salmon Tikka which I've also only done once.
