Hello from Malaysia
« on: March 06, 2012, 06:52:02 am »
Hello Everyone, I've had my TM for about 4 months. I like to use it all the way to cook rice, make dough, ice-cream, juice, soup and etc. I will move to Bangkok, Thailand with my hubby and my daughter soon. Bangkok is a totally new place for me to stay and I don't have any friend staying in Bangkok. Therefore joining this forum is my best way to learn the new recipe from all of you. ;D

Hi Elise, welcome to the forum.  It is wonderful how we can live anywhere in the world but still communicate with those who have the same interests.  Good luck with the move, keep in touch and let us know how things are different, foodwise, over there and perhaps you will even be able to post some nice recipes you convert using local ingredients.

Welcome to the forum Elise.  I wish you all the best for you move to Thailand.  You are lucky that you have a little girl as it won't take you long to meet other Mum's at her school or daycare.

Welcome Elise. Do you make any Malaysian specialities in your Thermomix?
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi Elise - kids are a great ice-breaker so a wonderful way to meet new friends. This forum is like having a whole family on-line, so where ever you are there's always someone to talk to .

We use our thermomix to make a lot of spice pastes - it does a great job with lemongrass, kaffir lime and ginger or galangal - it will be great to be living somewhere with great access to a wide variety of fruit and veges.
