Dosnt mention that it can weigh anywhere. Would love to get my hands on one to give it a real good test run.

just had a look through the recipes and some of the measurements don't look right. Most recipes call for extreme quantities of olive oil.

All very interesting. Would not be surprised if HO has already purchased one.

OMG. What next. As the picture was coming up I thought Target were selling TMX.

I'd be "targeting" Target. They are clearly dealing with an unethical supplier as can be seen by the recipe book etc. The manufacturer won't care, but Target might care if it makes them look bad. Then again... more publicity for Target means more sales of this unit. Though I can't help wondering what would happen if all the TMX owners in Oz stopped shopping at Target.

Shame on Target!  :P

I thought Vorwerk had international patents on the design concept (not just what it looks like, but the fact that it is multi-function)

When I was in China I got the distinct feeling that patents were meaningless to them. In fact I saw a local tv program where the people were openly saying that the Chinese are not just good at copying but proud of the fact you cannot tell which is the original and which was the copy. A good copy is highly regarded.

I think some people will be having trouble with the recipe translations.  It is going to be  interesting.

Yes Gert, that is what I was thinking "interesting" new forum members not understanding why recipes are not working perfectly etc. i think new members will have to clarify which machine rhey own.

I will be surprised if theres nt a lawsuit over this.

I love the recipe for Bechamel sauce, 400gr of butter and 70gr of flour  ????  Not sure I would like that poured over my cauliflower.  With mistakes like that I don't think it will get good reviews.

The people who make it in China are being paid by someone and my STRONG hunch is the 'producer' is not Chinese. They are probably reading this and laughing all the way to the bank.
