Many recipes have been taken word for word from the Fast and Easy Cooking cookery book.Janie Turner always gives cooking instructions for cooking in an Aga so I recognized them.

Don't you love that model number? What the .... BTMKM510 ? If we assume the "B" is for 'Bellini', and the "KM" is for 'Kitchen Master'... then what do you think "TM" means? Hmmm???

Oh my. Such a low price. Even cheaper than the Hotmix. If we view the glass as half full, I would say this will bring even more attention to the TMX and will bring a flood of new members to this forum from Oz.

Trying to figure out if it does reverse. There is almost no info on the website and the PDF... just that recipe book which mentions it being made in China. (no surprise)

Found "Thermomix" mentioned five times in the recipe book, and "TM" mentiond 23 times. (As in "TM bowl", "TM measuring cap", "TM lid" etc. No mention of butterfly or varoma.

Also very interesting:
When I searched for the manufacturer on Google, most of the top search results for "Gerard Sourcing and Manufacturing" turned out to be about product recalls! Whoa... unsuspecting buyers had best beware. Or at least... be aware.

Just looking at their recipe booklet for the Filo pastry pg 62, there is this:

"I never bothered making filo pastry before having a Thermomix. Now I always use home- made filo as it is so easy to handle and bakes beautifully. Do roll it very thin-in Vienna it is said that one should be able to read a love letter throgh strudel pastry!"

That's real bad. Someone needs to save the contents of the booklet before they realize their mistake and fix it. Obviously they have just copied recipes from people who have a TM and not actually come up with their own recipes for this machine.
