It will be interesting to see what Tenina thinks of the Hot Mix as she was sent one to trial according to her Facebook page

There's a few others about too. Hot mix pro sounds interesting. The twin one even has a USB port for uploading recipes. Wow.

Love the uploading of recipes bit . . . mind boggled . .  does that mean it reads, discerns and grabs the ingredients, follows the instructions to a T . . and gets it onto the table for you?  Sounds like an episode from The Jetsons! ;D  (I'll take two, please!)

The video for hotmix is focused on sauces and more sauces, didn't see a dough or a whole meal. Not sure about the minimum temp of -24, seems a bit unlikely.

I'm sure the market will be flooded with copy's of TM21, in the next 12 months.

I didn't see a price mentioned anywhere. The recipe storer would be handy.

Good Morning All, looking at my username, I am from Hotmix Australia, and am here to answer any of your questions. Just to correct cookie1. The Creative is the machine that will go down to -24 degrees. This machine will be available during the 2nd half of this year. Expected sell price will be around the $5k - $6k range + GST, at this stage the Twin is not available in Oz, only in Europe.

Pricing on the Gastro is $2395.00 + GST and the Easy $1895.00 +GST, the Gstro does have the capability to program and save recipes to the supplied SD card. This card has 250 recipes already included, these recipes also have doughs included.

My first question is who come up with the name Gastro? Obviously not in Australia cause we all hate Gastro (with a family of 7 Gastro is my worst nightmare ;D )

I know that the name is unfortunate, If it was up to me I would not have named the Gastro, Gastro. The manufacturers named the machine, after from what I understand after Gastronomic which the definition according to Wikipedia is "gastronomic; pertaining to all things humanly digestible."
