I made these this morning and they are quite simply stunning.  I changed nothing with the recipe.  It is a true winner and will be a regular in our house. Filled with avocado dip made with the unwashed bowl after homemade mayonnaise (thanks for the idea judydawn), cheese and salad.  Yum!

Made this the other day for dinner.  The next day I sliced and toast them on sandwich press and we love it  ;D

DD wanted her marmite, DS wanted cheese and I tried with sliced Sanitarium deli luncheon smoked.  Next time will go for bruchetta style.

So everyone got theirs customized  ;D I love it with a simple salad with mayonnaise or with duck mousse. I'll be doing my house warming in July so I'll be making these as canapés...
