Thanks for the links,
I'm in trouble, I think I need to enrol in a thermomix addiction group.
Before I goat this machine....48hrs ago I read the posts and thought..as if these people use these machines every day, that much..
But I get it now,  I'm absolutely converted.

Today I've made, porridge, pasta dough, white sauce and ice cream mix (that's freezing) and I'm honestly sitting here thinking what else can i make. Hubby said custard but I think ice cream is enough sweet food for one day.

This morning he got the choice..microwave porridge or TMX....he chose thermomix, we added a banana this time!  My consultant rang while it was cooking and said...oh what recipe.  Apparently there is a recipe where you mill the oats before cooking?  I'm happy with how it turns out without milling.

So where is the "how much do you love your TMX thread?"

Im litterally dreaming About what to cook next.

Another one hooked  ;D   Glad you are enjoying it Penny and there are so many postings on this forum regarding our love for this machine, just keep reading and you will see what I mean.  Have a fun weekend getting to know your machine.

Penny there is no hope for you now. You can't turn back (not that you would want too)
And don't worry the addiction just never wears off. After 15 months I still love using the TM and am always looking at new recipes to try. :)

Sometimes I'm not sure which one is more important? The forum or TM?
The TM wouldn't be the same without the forum, and the forum definitely wouldn't be the same without the TM :)

Mandi, there wouldn't be a forum if it wasn't for the TMX  ;)  A perfect marriage.

At least it is a harmless addiction. Well except for the extra inches around the waistline.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

Thought I should update you all on our new addition, my hubby.named her Thelma.
She has made, so much rice and porridge, curries, soup , doughs and more.
In 5 days...

I hear you about the extra inches... Solutions are varied...exercise, or buy bigger clothes!

My task for the next few weeks is to get some bases. Ade up, stocks, pastes etc.
Also i need to learn about making smaller quantities of recipes, I'm happy to use
Thermomix  recipes but I  don't need such large quantities?

I often halve recipes Plb so that I can try more recipes.  Just cut processing and cooking time by 20%.

Wait for it... 2seconds!  Now 20% of 2 is...   :D

So much fun using Thelma...and this forum!
