Closing lid
« on: April 07, 2012, 07:19:14 am »
I am finding my lid really really hard to close, does anyone else have or had this problem?

The only thing I can suggest is to thoroughly check that the seal is in properly . .  that's happened to me on occasion and adjusting the seal seemed to fix it each time . . .

It does take a bit of getting used to Jennifer.  I had trouble when I first got mine but just took things slowly and eventually got the hang of it.  As goldfish said, check that the seal has clicked into place properly - even that was difficult for me to start with  :-))

Hi Jennifer, are you saying it has become difficult to close lately compared to when you got the machine? If so that shouldn't be the case. Check your seal like the girls said, but also check your bowl and make sure you haven't damaged the rim  :(

Let us know how you get on, otherwise contact your consultant and get them to have a look at it for you. Generally it should become easier to use as you (a) get used to it and (b) wear it all in a little.  :)

I agree with Kathryn. DD damaged mine and the lid was very hard to get on.
