Hi Buttercups. One of the things I love most about my TMX is that it cuts and sautes my onions for me. How long do you let them cook for? I always give mine a blitz, then scrape down the sides, add oil and then cook 100 degrees, 3 mins, sp 1, leaving the MC off. I'm usually fairly happy with them. ALthough I've seen other recipes that do it for as little as 2 mins up to 4 mins.
Also where she mentioned about the dials and buttons on the TM being confusing, I think the TM is so easy to set, only takes 2 seconds. (but I have had mine for quiet awhile now and it's second nature
