Have you seen it anywhere Gretchen..

No I haven't.

Whoever sponsored her to write this review was smart.

I'd really prefer it if people would write reviews and be honest about their bias rather than pretending to be non bias but actually are. I like reading bias reports. If everyone wrote bias reports we'd truthfully know the pluses of all the products!

Things I'd want to know: Visable thermostat? I hate digital controlsI had this on a previous machine and it was a pain in the butt!

The higher temperature is probably the only selling feature for me. And it's ugggggly! Lol.

I'm not TMX loyal either but it needs to be better than that to sell my TMX and fork out even more money.

Did I miss something? What review are you talking about Mrs. Nesbit?

I had been reading about the MY Cook recently and contacted the company.  This is their reply.
There seems to be a lot of interest in these gadgets and variety appearing.

The My Cook is not the Hotmixpro ( gastro) that Tenina is testing.

Am I right ?  Now I am confused.

Just been looking at the recipes on the HotMixPro website.  The desserts mainly.
Some strange ingredients and very poor method explanation in badly translated English
I hope that the machine comes with a recipe book that is a bit easier to understand than the web-site.

I think Mrs Nesbit is referring to the "review" Tenina wrote about the Hotmix. I could be wrong.

I must have missed that review. Was it here?

Sorry the article posted at the start of this thread, it's a review no? And please forgive me if my post sounded gruff! Didn't mean it to. Just my own little vent ;)

My dear Mrs. Nesbit, gruff?? Not at all. I was  annoyed with myself for maybe missing something. Vent away. Join the club. Venting is good. We love to vent here. We love a soapbox. Ah shucks maybe that is just me and thee and a few others. In any case feel free to tell is like you see it. Open a discussion. Let's talk about stuff and get educated.  Lef's share ideas . No stupid questions and no wrong answers  here.

Everyone is allowed an opinion here and no one gets narky.  Obviously we all ove our Thermomix but there are others here with the Bellini and ThermoChef and we want to also know about other machines and how they compare.  I am dying to know how they all work .

Sorry if you  thought that I thought you were Gruff. Goodness I hardly know you. In any case only billy goats are gruff  and I hardly think you are a billy goat.

Gertiegoat.

Gretchen I do love your sense of humour. It gives me many chuckles.
I love my soap box and now I want to be a Billy Goat Gruff too. :D :D :D

The Billy Goat Gruff was on a bridge wasn't he?  That sounds more picturesque than a soap box..
With a troll underneath...   ;D  ;D

We could be the Nanny Goats Gruff. Now who can be the trolls? Let me think.

LOL All good here :) I don't like trolls myself. I tend to eat them for breakfast ;)

As for the article it just read like a promotional, or better yet paid review ;) but heck I'm occasionally a cynic.

I'll go back to my bridge now ;)

I am going to be a nanny in June (YAY, we are adding some estrogen to this testosterone laden family) so guessing I can be gruff too??

SO FAR: loving several features of Hot Mix Pro (or hereafter HMP) and really excited to keep using it…had a fail today, but first one, and I think I have sourced the reason…human error, which human??? That would be moi…

I think we are on to something exciting here….though there are features on TMX that I love that are missing from HMP….stay tuned!
I will do a proper comparison as soon as I can catch my breath…seriously crazy busy!
