i have only ever used dried yeast .
After purchasing a copy of FFS - with many of the recipes having fresh yeast, i have tried several places to get fresh yeast and have finally had some luck and was given some.
However - they gave me a lot - nearly a kilo and it has expiry of the 24th April.
i will share some with my neighbout who also has a TMIX
i do remember tenina saying that you will get much better results with fresh yeast.
i usually use 2 teasppons of yeast in my everyday bread mix loaf - what quantity of fresh yeat is equivalent ? Is it 20grams?
And after the expiry will it go off or just be not effective?
