For Foods Sake - Quinoa & Spelt Crackers p50

These litttle beauties are SO quick to whip up, I'm not sure I would even buy crackers anymore. In comparison, these have a lot of nutty flavour and visually more appealing. Makes quite a bit and therefore very cheap. 5/5

Thanks CP. I like to make my own crackers but find the ones with yeast take so long to roll etc. I'll give these a try.

Thanks for doing these CP. I have just made a batch and found myself nibbling on them as I prepared dinner. Every time DH copmes in he grabs a couple and DD is feeding them to the weiro as he is fretting about his missing budge friend.
A very easy, tasty snack.

What's in these? Are you able to post recipe or is that not allowed (newbie here- just looked at rules very quickly and could not see this)
I'm going to get this book but wanted to get started on these over the weekend.

I've only found the rosemary ones on her site. So if anyone has the quinoa ones I'd love the recipe.
Thanks

Just pulled these out of the oven, cooled down and broken apart. Quite moorish. But of course mine look nothing like the beautiful photo in the book.

This review was posted elsewhere by Bonsai so I have moved it to join existing reviews
These crackers were very quick to make and were crisp and crunchy wham cooked according to the recipe. I found the quinoa gave the crackers a slightly gritty quality (they are put in raw) so next time I might soak them first or exchange for something softer. I added a tablespoon of DH's dukkah as well.
Makes a lot so great for a party. Strong enough to scoop up dip.
4/5 from me

Thanks JD. I searched for reviews before I posted but it didn't find this thread (don't know why).
