Pistachio Paste
« on: April 25, 2012, 09:16:56 am »
Does any one know how to make pistachio paste? I could not find any at the health food shop or a local kitchen place near me.

What would happen if you blended pistachios together as in peanut paste? Could be expensive if it didn't work though.

thanks GF, the second link seems to be along the same lines that the lady in the kitchen shop was saying might work.

What are you going to use it for CP - I've never heard of it before.

Need for this macaron filling. I probably should perfect my macaron making first ;) and make some Lemon Curd to fill instead.

CP why not email Trissa and ask her. She is lovely. Or use ground pistachios as she suggested. Her macarons are lovely.
