I read somewhere a long time ago that a dishwasher could cook fish if you wrapped it in foil. Was this a dishwasher feeling bad because it could only wash dishes?

Why is it that I can only hear in my head . .

."How many dishes can a dishwasher wash if a dishwasher only washes dishes . . .
how many fish can a dishwasher cook if a dishwasher only cooks fishes?"

(I think i need to go back to bed . . . . . .!) :-))

Cecilia, don't feel bad about bringing this to our attention! Its great to see the good and the bad.

Yes, I have read that you can cook fish in the dishwasher. I think I'll stick to the original purpose. 😉

I remember reading a recipe for cooking fish In a dishwasher and wondering why exactly I would waste so much water and electricity doing it that way.  Hmmm, perhaps that just meant I was turning into a grump in my old age ;-)

I loved the idea of washing loads of potatoes in the dishwasher, though. Someone posted about that on this forum - who was that?  I can't remember.

I started reading the review and didn't go too far ... I just couldn't be bothered.  Of course the TMX can't do everything - what can (except us women!).  I work on a computer all day, but it can't do anything other than be a computer; I drive my car to get from A to B, but that is all the car can do (and it costs much more than a TMX and I bet the writer of the review has a car!), etc., etc.

We don't need to justify our decision to purchase the TMX, just keep on cooking the best we can and let it be at that.
